On April 26, students from the University of St. Gallen hosted the Un-Dress fashion show in Zurich to promote sustainable fashion.
Originating from a doctoral thesis in 2011, Un-Dress has grown over the years to become the largest fashion show dedicated entirely to sustainability. Its mission is to demonstrate that style and sustainability are not mutually exclusive. After a successful show last year, Un-Dress expanded its reach by holding the event in Zurich for the first time at Halle 622. With support from the student association oikos St. Gallen and the dedicated students of the University of St. Gallen, the project aims to show that sustainable fashion can be as stylish—if not more stylish—than fast fashion, without any need for compromise.
Motivation, energy and innovation are the defining characteristics of this year’s Un-Dress fashion show, held at Halle 622 in Zurich. Among the many featured brands were Artiatric, Cervo Volante, Iqigai, Jennifer Lynn Farmer, Kienast, Kleider, La Essence, La Maison Ivy, Lola Tong, Markant, Moefe, Moya, Old Captain Co., Kala, Punto301, Tias and Olives, and Zi ka de. Although all the brands showcased a diverse range of clothes with their own unique appeal, the winner of this year’s fashion show was Tias and Olives.
