A beautiful home should not only look good. It should feel good too. With high temperature steam, powerful suction and thoughtful design, the Roborock F25 Steam brings a new approach to modern floor care. As a result, everyday cleaning becomes easier and fits naturally into a contemporary lifestyle.
Crumbs under the dining table, muddy paw prints in the hallway and stains after dinner are simply part of everyday life. However, we still want our homes to feel clean, comfortable and inviting. That is why modern cleaning should be one thing above all: simple.
With the Roborock F25 Steam, Roborock introduces its first wet and dry steam cleaner in Switzerland. The device combines high temperature steam with 25,000 Pa of suction power. Therefore, it can tackle wet and dry messes in a single cleaning session.
What Makes the Roborock F25 Steam Special?
The Roborock F25 Steam vacuums and cleans the floor at the same time. In addition, high temperature steam helps tackle stubborn stains.
At the heart of the system is Roborock’s VaporFlow technology. An integrated heating module produces steam at temperatures of up to 180°C. Meanwhile, six steam outlets distribute it directly onto the floor at an optimised angle of 48 degrees.
Powerful suction then collects loosened dirt and liquids. As a result, several cleaning steps come together in one continuous process.
The idea is simple. You spend less time cleaning and have more time to enjoy your home.
180°C Steam for Stubborn Stains
Dried food, oily marks and other stubborn stains often require extra effort. However, high temperature steam can make the task easier.
The F25 Steam generates steam at temperatures of up to 180°C, measured at the internal heating element. Moreover, around 2,200 mg of steam per minute reaches the floor. This helps loosen stubborn dirt before the suction system picks it up.
Hygiene also plays an important role. According to independent TÜV SÜD tests, the steam mode removed more than 99.9999 percent of the tested bacteria from floors. In addition, it removed more than 99.9 percent of the tested floor allergens under defined test conditions.
Consequently, the technology could be particularly interesting for busy households, families and homes with pets.
25,000 Pa Suction Power for Everyday Life
Steam is only one part of effective floor care. Therefore, Roborock combines the steam function with 25,000 Pa of suction power.
The F25 Steam collects both wet and dry dirt. For example, this becomes particularly useful when crumbs and spilled liquids end up on the floor at the same time.
Instead of vacuuming first and cleaning the floor afterwards, different types of everyday mess can be tackled in one session. As a result, cleaning kitchens, dining areas and other busy spaces becomes more convenient.
Intelligent Cleaning That Detects Dirt
Not every part of the floor needs the same level of cleaning. For this reason, the F25 Steam features the DirTect Smart Sensor.
During cleaning, the sensor monitors dirt levels in real time and automatically adjusts the intensity. At the same time, a light bar on the display provides visual feedback. When the device detects a dirty area, the indicator changes from blue to red. Once the area is clean, it returns to blue.
In addition, a blue light helps reveal dust that might otherwise be difficult to see. The double sided edge roller also cleans close to walls and reaches into corners.
Therefore, the F25 Steam does not simply deliver more power. Instead, it uses that power where it is needed.
Designed to Move Around Real Homes
A floor cleaner can offer impressive specifications. However, everyday usability matters just as much.
Tables, chairs, sofas and beds rarely make cleaning straightforward. Therefore, Roborock equipped the F25 Steam with a brush head that can swivel by 70 degrees. As a result, the device moves more easily around furniture and table legs.
The FlatReach 2.0 design provides even greater flexibility. Users can lower the F25 Steam into a 180 degree flat position to reach underneath sofas, beds and coffee tables. Importantly, the device maintains its suction performance in this position.
When lying flat, the cleaner measures just 12.5 cm in height. Consequently, it can reach areas that are often missed during regular cleaning.
Less Hair Around the Roller
Anyone with long hair or pets knows how quickly hair can become wrapped around a cleaning roller. Therefore, easy roller maintenance can make a noticeable difference in everyday use.
Roborock addresses this problem with its JawScrapers system. The technology combines a comb scraper with 141 teeth and a moving scraper that maintains consistent pressure against the roller.
As a result, the design helps prevent hair from becoming tangled around the roller. At the same time, the system removes residual dirty water.
Under controlled SGS test conditions, Roborock recorded a hair tangling rate of 0 percent. Specifically, the test involved 2,000 wet and dry hair strands measuring 50 cm in length.
Up to 80 Minutes of Cleaning
Battery life plays an important role when cleaning larger living spaces. In Eco mode, the Roborock F25 Steam offers up to 80 minutes of runtime.
According to Roborock, that is enough to cover up to 660 square metres on a single charge under the specified conditions. Therefore, users can clean larger areas with fewer interruptions.
The tanks are also designed with convenience in mind. While the clean water tank holds 1,000 ml, the dirty water tank has a capacity of 720 ml. In addition, there is a separate 100 ml detergent tank.
An automatic dispenser mixes the cleaning solution with water. According to Roborock, one 100 ml refill can last for up to 30 days with regular use.
Consequently, users can spend more time cleaning and less time refilling tanks.
The F25 Steam Cleans Its Own Roller
Convenience should not end when the floor is clean. After all, maintaining the cleaning device itself also takes time.
Following a cleaning session, a removable wet and dry separation module makes it easier to dispose of collected debris. Afterwards, the docking station takes care of the roller.
First, repeated steam bursts at temperatures of up to 180°C help loosen stubborn residue. Next, the system cleans the roller with 95°C hot water. Finally, 95°C hot air dries the roller.
Users can choose between a five minute rapid drying cycle and a quieter 30 minute drying programme. Therefore, the F25 Steam can prepare itself for its next cleaning session with minimal effort.
Can You Use Steam Cleaning on Wooden Floors?
Steam and wooden flooring naturally raise questions about surface protection. However, Roborock has also addressed this aspect through independent testing.
According to TÜV SÜD testing, the tested solid wood flooring showed no visible scratches or colour changes after 18,000 back and forth movements in steam cleaning mode. Furthermore, the tests found no blistering or deformation.
Nevertheless, flooring materials can vary significantly. Therefore, users should always follow the care instructions provided by the manufacturer of their particular floor.
When Household Technology Becomes Lifestyle
Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the Roborock F25 Steam is not a single technical specification. Instead, the device reflects a broader change in how we think about technology inside our homes.
Coffee machines, speakers and kitchen appliances have already evolved from purely functional objects into carefully designed products. Now, cleaning technology is following a similar path.
Today, we expect strong performance. At the same time, we want intuitive operation, everyday convenience and products that fit naturally into contemporary interiors.
The F25 Steam brings these ideas together. While its technology aims to take care of more of the work, its understated design suits a modern home.
After all, modern luxury does not always mean owning more. Sometimes it simply means spending less time on everyday chores.
How Much Does the Roborock F25 Steam Cost?
The Roborock F25 Steam launched in Switzerland on 28 July 2026. Its recommended retail price is CHF 549.
With its combination of vacuuming, wet cleaning and high temperature steam, the F25 Steam offers several cleaning functions in one device. Therefore, it is designed for people who want to simplify everyday floor care without compromising on performance or convenience.
