Italian artist Claudio Lobosco represents a form of painting that is born directly from the deepest core of human emotion. Every brushstroke is a spontaneous expression of his inner world—raw, unfiltered, and extraordinarily intense. With his first public exhibition, Lobosco presents works that capture precisely this state of being: pure intuition transformed into color and form.

Art Born from the Moment
Lobosco paints without sketches, guidelines, or predetermined concepts. His abstract, color-rich compositions arise entirely “from the gut,” reflecting a deeply personal emotional landscape. For him, painting is an act of liberation:
“Only when I paint do I feel absolutely free.”
This sense of freedom reveals itself in explosive compositions—ranging from energetic, wild structures to color-bursting, almost cosmic visual worlds. Each piece invites viewers to discover their own interpretations and emotional connections.
A Life Marked by Unexpected Turns
At 53, Claudio Lobosco looks back on a life shaped by movement, creativity, and reinvention. Born in Windisch to parents who immigrated from Apulia, he grew up between cultures. Early on, photography captivated him, yet the path to art school remained closed. Instead, he trained as an art reproducer and later spent two transformative years in Greece, producing photoshoots and organizing events.
Returning to the Swiss canton of Aargau, he entered the promotions field. In 1995, he helped establish what would soon become a globally recognized beverage brand. International travel—especially to South America—left lasting impressions. Today, he has found stability in his home in Mülligen, which he shares with his adult son.

Family, Influences, and Creative Inspiration
Creativity has followed Lobosco since childhood. His father, who painted passionately in every spare moment, filled the home with the familiar scent of oil paint. Lobosco himself drew, played music, and experimented with creative expression. Yet the most decisive artistic spark came from painter Karin Klöckl, whose uncompromising dedication left a profound mark on him.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Lobosco intensified his artistic practice. His works grew larger, bolder, and more intuitive—soon exceeding the space available in his home. Today he is actively seeking an art studio to create large-scale abstract works.
First Exhibition at Galerie Immaginazione
Despite growing attention, Lobosco remains grounded. Success is not his goal; the joy of painting is what drives him.

His debut exhibition at Galerie Immaginazione showcases how spontaneous emotion can evolve into captivating visual universes. Each artwork is an invitation to step into Lobosco’s intuitive world—one where color, movement, and feeling collide to form an unmistakable artistic signature.
