The Basel street fashion label TARZAN has expanded to the heart of Zurich, opening a new store at Limmatquai 104.
Founded in Basel in 2001 by Manuel Rieder and Caesar von Däniken, TARZAN has been committed to offering textiles made from organic cotton and produced in-house. While designs are created in Basel, production remains both sustainable and fair in Portugal. TARZAN opened its first store in Zurich on Konradstrasse in 2008. A decade later, the Zurich branch relocated to a spot under one of the arches of the 1894 railway viaduct in Zurich-West. Since 2022, TARZAN has been a proud member of Swiss Fair Trade. This year, TARZAN has further expanded to the heart of Zurich with a new location at Limmatquai 104.
At its core, TARZAN specializes in sustainable streetwear, which has been produced in Portugal since 2016. The store features a curated selection of stylish and eco-friendly brands, including Johnny Love, Samsoe & Samsoe, Mads Norgaard, Thinking Mu, Noyoco, Cossac, and Five Units, along with the emerging bag brand Ann Kurz and KMB shoes from Spain.
